The munosound.com website

The website sets no cookie and carries no audience measurement, no advertising tracker and no font, video or content loaded from a third-party service. Our host, Cloudflare, processes visitors' IP addresses for as long as it takes to serve the pages and protect the site.

The "Écrivez-nous" form sends us your email address, the venue type you chose and your message, so that we can answer you (legitimate interest: answering a request). They are stored in no database: the message reaches our mailbox by email (sent through Resend), where the exchange is kept for at most three years after the last contact, then deleted.

What the app collects

MUNO is a tool for a business, not a consumer product: what it holds describes a venue. We collect nothing beyond the following.

  • The account - email address and password (hashed by our authentication provider; we never see it). If you use "Continue with Google", Google gives us your email and name.
  • The company - legal name, SIREN, VAT number and billing address, as you enter them.
  • The venue - name, kind of venue, postal address and the coordinates of that address, the names and number of zones.
  • The music settings - the brief you write, opening hours, the share of vocals, playback quality, language, theme.
  • Playback - what played in a room, when, in which zone and from which device, together with the app and catalogue versions installed.
  • Your messages - what you write to us from inside the app.

What we do not collect: no device location (the weather is read for the address you typed, not for the phone), no microphone, contacts, photos or files, no advertising identifier. The app carries no advertising and no third-party analytics.

Why

  • To run the service: sign you in, play the right music at the right time in the right room, and bend the day's curve to the daylight and weather at your address (performance of the contract).
  • To invoice the subscription and meet our accounting obligations (legal obligation).
  • To report the number of music zones to the catalogue provider - a number, with no personal data in it (contractual obligation).
  • To answer your support requests (legitimate interest).

No automated decisions, no advertising profiles, no sale of data.

Who else processes it

  • Supabase - database and authentication, hosted in Ireland (EU).
  • Cloudflare - page hosting and audio delivery.
  • Resend - confirmation and password-reset mail, and messages from the website form.
  • Google Workspace - our mailbox, where your emails to support arrive.
  • Google - only if you choose "Continue with Google".
  • Open-Meteo - receives your venue's coordinates and returns the weather. No account data is sent.
  • Base Adresse Nationale (api-adresse.data.gouv.fr, a French state service) - receives what you type in the address field so that it can offer real addresses.
  • Epidemic Sound - the catalogue provider; receives a monthly count of zones and no personal data.

How long

For as long as the account exists. When it is deleted, everything above is erased at once, with one exception: invoices already issued are kept for ten years, as French commercial law requires.

Deleting your account

In the app: Account › Profile and account › Delete the account. In the browser: the same row at the foot of Settings › Profile and account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. The full procedure, including for someone who can no longer open the app, is at munosound.com/delete-account.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection (GDPR articles 15-22). Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) if our answer does not satisfy you.
